RENEE WAIBEL

Week 5 Winner (nominated by Dieatria Long)

Renee is a Trailblazer and I nominate her being spotlighted this week because she has broken traditional barriers, demonstrating a commitment to other women within AT&T.

She has made a significant impact on my life and career. Renee has personally assisted me with finding a mentor, coached and guided me not to be afraid of change. I'm currently in the position I'm in because of her influence. I love my job and AT&T!

Way to go Renee with making sure females are proven success and have the ability for AT&T to bring vision to life.

SHARON HOUSLEY
Director, Technology

Week 4 Winner (nominated by Misty Moreno)

I am recommending Sharon Housley for this honor, Woman of the Week. Her exceptional leadership and expert knowledge have made significant impacts in our CDO PMO Organization and team demonstrating her dedicated passion and excellence.

Sharon works tirelessly for our team and is always willing to teach and lend a hand whenever needed. She inspires me with her resilience to continue to strive forward and hone my skills. No matter what is going on in her personal life, she is available to me and the team as a whole. She always is our biggest advocate and cares for each member of her team both professionally and personally.

Sharon is a cancer survivor that never complains, never gives up, and pushes for excellence in herself. I am proud to be a friend and employee of Sharon, and she is a great inspiration to all that work with her. She deserves this honor to remind her that her impact makes a difference! Her strength is seen, appreciated and respected!

VALERIE QUINONES
Senior-Network Technology Support Network Engineering & Operations

Week 3 Winner (nominated by Lynn Martinez)

Val is a completely well-rounded inspiration. On a professional level, she is not only extremely knowledgeable about the subjects and equipment that she is responsible for, but she's also extremely generous with her time. She will always make herself available to assist, train, explain or fix any issues that are given to her.

On a more personal level, she is such a calming and generous presence in our group and among our peers. During the pandemic, she, a registered Yoga instructor, conducted "armchair" yoga, from Webex, to anyone on our team that was interested. It was a great way to stay connected, while we worked from home, but also to help maintain ergonomic health and habits.

She is always available to help and lend an ear. When you work with someone like that, a team player that goes above and beyond to be an asset and a support system to her teammates, it makes work a better place.

KERI HISSIM
AVP Regional Operations,
Mobility Retail Sales & Services-East Region

Week 2 Winner (nominated by Amber Reiter)

Keri started a Teams Room called Hissim Healthy Habits and through it she inspires us to take care of ourselves, both physically and mentally. The room started as a way for her to engage with her team, but as Keri has changed roles, both former and new team members have continued to engage with her in the chatroom. And as word-of-mouth spreads, we continue to add new members who are looking for inspiring ways to connect with peers around health and wellness.

Each month we have a new healthy habit to work on, and Keri holds us and herself accountable through engagement and vulnerability. She shares videos with inspirational quotes from books she’s reading, as well as speaks transparently about any roadblocks she’s facing. The Teams Room is not only an amazing place for us to celebrate each other’s successes, but it’s also a safe space to share our struggles. Keri makes monthly challenges fun – from daily water challenges, to stretching, and walking challenges. We share pictures and daily updates and encourage each other to keep up with our healthy practices.

It's important that we make our health and overall well-being a priority. It’s easy to let our health take a back seat to the daily tasks we have set in front of us. Keri makes sure that we continue to make wellness a priority, and by doing so, we’re happier and more fulfilled both professionally and personally.

Director, Technical Sourcing Global Supply Chain

Week 1 Winner (nominated by Paula Waldron)

Beth is a great boss, mentor, and business leader and most importantly, she's an advocate. During the 3 years I've worked for Beth, I've witnessed and benefited from her on-going support and advocacy of her employees. She helps people develop skills and increase their brand through engagement in special projects that have leadership visibility. She helps you stretch by assigning you to problem areas that need fixing. And, if you need help, she's there to coach you.

Beth has developed and run Supply Chain's intern program over the last several years. This program has become a feeder for bringing new talent into the Supply Chain Organization. It is a well thought out summer program that mixes fun with team building and networking, as well as skill development and project management. The interns have loved the experience and our Executives are thrilled with the results.

One of the best qualities about Beth is that she speaks her truth. She's transparent in sharing that she's a working mom to two wonderful, very active, very different children.... who happen to have been adopted. She is a big supporter of diversity and inclusion and is cognizant of having representation from people of diverse backgrounds.

I recommend Beth for "Woman of the Week" as she's a great example of a modern female leader: Smart, Approachable, Forward Thinking, Fun and Supportive and of course...Results Oriented.
